A SpaceX Dragon will make the 1st nighttime splashdown with astronauts in 53 years and you can watch it live

A SpaceX crew capsule will return four astronauts to Earth in the first nighttime splashdown for NASA since 1968 and you can watch it all live online, starting with a farewell from the International Space Station tonight (May 1).

SpaceX’s Crew-1 Dragon spacecraft, called Resilience, is scheduled to undock from the space station at 8:35 p.m. EDT (0035 GMT) after delays due to bad weather at its splashdown site on Earth. The spacecraft will return NASA astronauts Victor Glover, Mike Hopkins, Shannon Walker and Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency astronaut Soichi Noguchi home after six months in space.
